Spring 2016

Oregon State University

The Redhawks got off to a slow start in conference play dropping 2 of 3 to the Beavers. Jarren Chun threw a fantastic game in game 2, only giving up one earned run, but ultimately picked up the loss. In game 3 the Redhawks picked up the win 9-7 with contributions from everybody including a three run home run from Wyatt Allenman and a strong relief appearance from Nick Zaptopa going five innings and picking up with win.

Montana

The Redhawks got off to a great start in league by winning 13-3 in a shortened game to Montana. The weather did not allow for the remaining two games to be played out. The games will be rescheduled for a later date in the season. This upcoming weekend the team will have an intersquad  before Spring break and return to play Eastern Washington University the weekend of April 11th

Humboldt State

The Redhawks traveled to Arcata, CA to play a tough three game series against Humboldt State. The Redhawks dropped all three although very competitive games: 1-2, 7-8, and 4-5. The team is looking to bounce back against defending No Pac North Champions University of Montana. This will be the first home series for SU this season. The players have put in extra work in practice the past week to get ready for conference play.

 COCC

The 2015 season got off to a great start as the Redhawks swept Central Oregon Community College: 14-2, 10-9, and 11-3. There were major contributions from a number of players and everyone got to see some action in the first series of the year. The team will look to carry their offensive momentum to CA next weekend as they take on non-conference opponent Humboldt State March 7-8.

2015 Outlook

The Redhawks are looking forward to their conference realignment to the NorPac North Conference in 2015. The conference includes the University of Idaho, University of Montana, Eastern Washington University, Western Washington University and Seattle University.

After going to regionals in 2012, the senior-loaded roster looks to return to playoffs with the help of veteran returners and talented newcomers. The players have been working hard since the Fall of 2014 and have their goals set on not only returning to regional playoffs but to be the first team in school history to reach the NCBA World Series.

Fall 2014

Our Fall practices are close to finishing up and we would like to thank everybody that came out. In other news, we have seen conference re-alignemt within the NoPac. Our conference opponents are now Western Washington University, Eastern Washington University, University of Idaho and University of Montana. This year our non-conference opponents will be Humboldt State and Central Oregon Community College.
